Customs staff of customs commissionerate claimed to have seized 310-gm heroin from a goods train that arrived from Pakistan on Wednesday.

The contraband is worth Rs 1.55 crore in the international market. Customs commissioner Capt Sanjay Gahlot said, “Staff checked the train and found a black packet attached to the ceiling of a wagon.”

He said it is a new modus operandi adopted by cross-border smugglers. Commissioner said that further investigation in the case is in on.
