4 killed in road mishap in Sirsa

Four youngsters were killed and three others were injured when a car in which they were travelling collided with a truck on the national highway-10 near Bhavdin village in Sirsa district amid poor visibility due to dense fog on Friday.

Four youngsters were killed and three others were injured when a car in which they were travelling collided with a truck on the national highway-10 near Bhavdin village in Sirsa district amid poor visibility due to dense fog on Friday.

Seven people were travelling in a Gurgaon-bound Tavera car coming from Lambi village in Muktsar district of Punjab on Friday morning. When the vehicle reached near village Bhavdin, it rammed into a truck which the driver probably could not see due to dense fog, police said.

Four youngsters died on the spot while three others were injured. The deceased were identified as Gurpreet Singh, Manpreet Singh, Pardeep Kumar and Resham Singh. The truck driver fled from the spot immediately after the incident.
