50 get artificial limbs at camp
Bharat Vikas Parishad's Kitchlu branch, in collaboration with Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust, Punjab, organised a free artificial limbs distribution camp at Viklang Sahayta Kendra, Rishi Nagar, on Sunday which saw 50 physically-challenged people receive artificial limbs, calipers, crutches and hearing aids.
Bharat Vikas Parishad's Kitchlu branch, in collaboration with Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust, Punjab, organised a free artificial limbs distribution camp at Viklang Sahayta Kendra, Rishi Nagar, on Sunday which saw 50 physically-challenged people receive artificial limbs, calipers, crutches and hearing aids.

Auto Tech Pvt Ltd managing director Anil Gupta, the chief guest at the event, lauded the Parishad for its initiative. Nirbal-Ke-Balram's president Manorama Sharma was the guest of honour while Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust president Jitendra Prakash presided over the function.
The Trust's secretary Narinder Mittal said the organisation had so far organised 1,001 such camps in which over 41,000 physically-challenged people benefitted.
"The Trust will establish a modern workshop for manufacturing artificial limbs. Several centres to impart training in making hosiery will be soon set up with the National Small Industries' Association," he said.
Ravinder Mittal, Bhupinder Singh, AK Kapoor, Neelam Thapar, Archana Gupta, RP Gupta and other members of Bharat Vikas Parishad were present on this occasion.
