Akal Takht jathedar backs film

Backing the controversial film, Akal Takht jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh on Saturday said it depicted reality and must be shown. Replying to a question regarding the Centre not allowing the release of the film, the jathedar said, "The film shows reality and it is tough to see reality. It must be shown and people's sacrifices brought to light."

Replying to a question regarding the Centre not allowing the release of the film, the jathedar said, "The film shows reality and it is tough to see reality. It must be shown and people's sacrifices brought to light."

He wondered as to why such restrictions were put only on issues pertaining to Sikhs, while demanding that the restriction put on its release be removed.
