Another accused arrested in Phagwara ASI shootout case

The Kapurthala police on Wednesday arrested Tavinder Singh, alias Tally, a resident of Tut Kalan village in Nakodar for his involvement in the murder of Phagwara assistant sub-inspector Gurdev Singh near Haveli restaurant on Monday. Tavinder is said to be a UK citizen and had returned to India recently. Sources said that his leg got fractured while he was trying to escape from the police. He was later admitted to the Phagwara civil hospital.
