Sources said the leaders met dera head Gurinder Dhillon and apprised him of Awaaz-e-Punjab’s concept and ideology.

In March this year, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi had also visited the dera and met Dhillon. Rahul had also spent a night there. Earlier, Punjab Congress chief Capt Amarinder Singh visited the dera, and in 2014, Bharatiya Janata Party senior leader LK Advani had stayed there for a night.
