Carrying the national flag and also some placards against the film, activists of the, held protest and raised slogans against the producers and director.
Heavy police force was deployed around the mall as the administration was anticipating the protest. Harish Singla, who led the protest, said, “The film is depicting Punjab in a wrong way as it is portraying that the entire state is in the grip of drugs. The film is full of vulgar dialogues, which is against Punjab.”
However, despite the protest, a large number of viewers, especially students, were seen standing in queues buy tickets.
