'Bhola's allegations have vindicated state Youth Cong stand'

Punjab Youth Congress (PYC) president Vikramjit Singh Chaudhary on Tuesday claimed that the PYC's crusade against the illegal drug trade and "strong conviction in its well-managed circulation in the state and aboard with the blessings of the SAD-BJP government" stood vindicated after wrestler-turned-druglord Jagdish Bhola's revelations.

The PYC chief said it was a matter of grave concern that deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal's brother-in-law and cabinet minister Bikram Singh Majithia had been named by Bhola as the kingpin of the multi-crore drug racket.

Chaudhary lambasted Sukhbir for rubbishing Bhola's allegations as an attempt to "give political colour to the story to make it sound interesting."

He demanded Majithia's immediate removal from the cabinet, besides a criminal case and a probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) so as to bring out the truth behind the international drug racket.
