Bibi Jagir Kaur launches membership drive of Istri Akali Dal

While addressing women workers, she said that Istri Akal Dal would concentrate on enrolling new members in the coming time to strengthen the organisation that would spread awareness about the welfare programmes of the state government among the masses and make elected representatives aware of the people's grievances.

She said that, after completing the membership enrollment drive, the organisation's committees will be formed from the village to the district level.

"The Istri Akali Dal will play an important role in the coming elections including that of ensuing local body elections," she said.
