BJP misleading nation on black money: Cong

The Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) on Tuesday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on the black money issue.

Himahcal Pradesh Congress Committee spokesperson Naresh Chauhan said during general election Bharatiya Janata Party had made black money as a big issue and made big promises to the people of the country.
“Infect BJP mislead the people of the country on Black money issue,” said Chauhan, adding that it had promised to bring back the black money within 100 days.

It has been over 150 days now and government stance on black money issue is evident. “Investigation is being steered by Supreme Court and government has no role in it,” said he. While BJP was claiming it as its achievement, he added.

Even, today several leaders including BJP member of Parliament Subramanian Swamy, Rajyasabha member of Parliament Ram Jethmalani have been questioning the intention of BJP over black money issue.
