BSP leader Manhera dies of heart attack in PGI
BSP general secretary Maan Singh Manhera died of heart attack today at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh.
BSP general secretary Maan Singh Manhera died of heart attack on Thursday at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh.
BSP general secretary Narender Kashyap said Manhera was admitted to PGIMER a couple of days back. "He was being treated for a brain problem," Kashyap said.
Manhera was also the party's in-charge for Himachal.
Chandigarh BSP leader Anwar-ul Haq said Manhera was in his mid 50s and is survived by his wife, two daughters and two sons.
Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda expressed deep shock and sorrow over the sad demise of Manhera.
In his condolence message, Hooda said in his death, the country had lost a great social worker who worked for the welfare of weaker sections of society.
