Buttar takes oath as PPSC chairman

Prominent among those who attended the swearing-in-ceremony were chief minister Parkash Singh Badal, revenue and public relations minister Bikram Singh Majithia, cultural affairs minister Sarwan Singh Phillaur and senior government officials.

Buttar was accompanied by family members, friends and relatives, an official spokesman said.
The media, including photojournalists, was not invited to the ceremony.
