Chandigarh: Pleasant weather ahead; rain, thunderstorm expected
On Friday, the weather might become a little warmer before rain and thunderstorm again brings respite during the weekend.
The meteorological department has predicted pleasant weather for the next few days.
Light rain and thunderstorm are on the cards till the weekend. After sudden showers on Tuesday evening, the city recorded 20.2mm till Wednesday evening. It helped keep the maximum temperature, which had reached 39.9°C on Tuesday, as low as 34.2°C. The minimum temperature on Tuesday night fell to 22.7°C, nine notches lower than that recorded the previous day.
“Thundery development is expected on Thursday. The temperatures will remain nearly the same,” said the weatherman.
