Congress wins one zila parishad seat in Jalandhar
Congress candidate Darshan Lal has been declared winner from zila parishad zone of Shankar. He defeated his SAD counterpart Parwinder Singh. Darshan, ex-sarpanch of Tahli village, was booked by Sadar police last night on the charges of forcing a woman to commit suicide.
