Chhotepur said this case would have no impact on the AAP’s prospects in Punjab, adding that Majithia was not above board, as evident from the transfer of an Enforcement Directorate officer dealing with the drug racket probe.

He said Majithia had filed a false case against the AAP’s national leader out of desperation, seeing the party’s great rise in Punjab. Chhotepur stated that the Akali-BJP government was day-dreaming that it could suppress the voice of AAP, which was a party of revolutionaries.
