The documentary is titled “Saaka Neela Tara” and Dhillon will be its writer, producer, and director. At a press conference here on Tuesday, he said the work would be based on eyewitness accounts. “The purpose is to view this historical tragedy from an unbiased perspective and educate the coming generations about the roles that the army, police, administration, media, political leaders, public, mediators and militants played in the run-up to the siege and thereafter,” he stated.

Accepting that different versions of the operation were available, he said he would try to be closest to facts.
