Drug bust: Ram Singh in custody till April 7

The dismissed head constable of Punjab was remanded in police custody till April 7, after which, one of his relatives contested the charge before the media and said the boxer had been in police custody for long, away from the eyes of visitors.

The Fatehgarh Sahib police had arrested Ram Singh after recovering 5-kilogram methamphetamine from the house of his brother-in-law, Ravicharan "Ravi Deol", in Sangrur recently and the March 3 arrest of non-resident India (NRI) Anoop Singh Kahlon.
