Drug peddler arrested with 50 gm powder
Police arrested a person after recovering 50 gm psychotropic powder from him on Tuesday evening. The accused has been identified as Rohit Kumar, 24, a resident of Shivaji Nagar.

The accused was arrested a few months ago by the police when he was carrying 40 gm psychotropic powder, and was on bail.
Crime investigation agency (CIA- 2) in charge Rajesh Kumar said a police party had installed a barricade at Mohalla Kashmir Nagar on Goushala Road. A suspicious person came on motorcycle, and was stopped by the police team. Sub-inspector Parminder Singh was leading the team and stopped the accused.
“The peddler was carrying 50 gm psychotropic powder. A case section 22-61-85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against him at Division Number 3 police station,” Rajesh Kumar said.
