"In all other blocks of the district, teachers have got their salaries till January. But in Sultanpur Lodhi block, due to sloppy approach of office staff in preparing bills and delay in presenting the bills for approval, the salaries are pending since November 2011," revealed Gurmukh Baba, state president of ETT employees union.

"It is becoming very difficult for the teachers to make both ends meet without salaries, especially during these months when they need money for admissions of their wards in schools," he added.
