The farming community of the state has discovered the “true face” of the Badal government and they know that it was least bothered about its welfare.
This was stated by Independent MLA Simranjit Singh Bains through a press released by him on Friday evening.
He said, “The government must formulate a strong suicide policy and chalk out ways to discourage suicides among farmers.”
Recently, cotton farmers suffered huge loss due to white fly attack and many of them also committed suicide. Daily newspapers carry headlines of farmers suicides, which the state government needs to consider very seriously, he added.
