Four arrested with 20 quintal steel

A team of CIA Staff, Sirhind arrested four persons with 20 quintal steel on Sunday. Acting on the information, the police team raided the godown and found two truck drivers Kewan Singh and Lakhan Singh, residents of Kathua(Jammu) unloading steel material.

Fatehgarh Sahib SSP HS Mann informed that after police received information that Pawan Kumar Sharma, a resident of Mandi Gobindgarh had taken a godown on lease at Ajnali Road Mandi Gobindgarh and hired two persons Kala Singh, a resident of Machrai Kalan and Gagan Dhiman, a resident of Mandi Gobindgarh.

They were involved in stolen material trade. Acting on the information, the police team raided the godown and found two truck drivers Kewan Singh and Lakhan Singh, residents of Kathua(Jammu) unloading steel material.

The police arrested them and recovered 20 quintal steel. The police also arrested Kala Singh and Gagan Dhiman and Pawan Kumar Sharma. A case under sections 379, 411 of IPC was registered
against these persons.
