A 27-year-old resident of Gandhi Nagar on Thursday lodged a complaint against two of his friends for circulating a lewd video of him on WhatsApp.
A 27-year-old resident of Gandhi Nagar on Thursday lodged a complaint against two of his friends for circulating a lewd video of him on WhatsApp.
The complainant alleged that two female friends from Mohalla Fatehgarh had taken him to a house near Buddha Nullah on December 1.
He said his friends had then offered him liquor.
The complainant alleged that he had become unconscious after excess consumption of liquor.
He further alleged that the two friends had made a lewd video of him and had posted in on the messaging service WhatsApp to humiliate him.
The victim filed a complaint in the Salem Tabri police station.
Station house officer of Salem Tabri police station inspector Maninder Bedi said the police had begun investigations into the issue and would take appropriate action soon.
