The Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Sector 32, inaugurated a dialysis unit and a one-stop crisis centre on Thursday.
The renovated dialysis unit has been expanded from four to 14 machines.
The one-stop crisis centre is aimed at providing medical aid to victims of rape, dowry harassment and domestic violence, besides assistance in filing first information reports (FIRs), legal advice and psychological counselling.
Dr Atul Sachdev, director, GMCH-32, said, “A cath lab, equipped with diagnostic imaging equipment to visualise arteries and chambers of the heart, will be inaugurated on January 29.”
