Husband booked for killing wife in Nawawnshahr

A 35-year-old woman was murdered by her husband in Chahal Jattan village of district, on Wednesday morning.

The deceased was identified Gurbaksh Kaur, who was alone at her home when her husband Santokh Singh, who was living
separately last from one year, entered her home forcefully.

As per the information,duo were not having good relations with each other and her husband had sentenced to one year jail by court in a legal case filed by Gurbaksh Kaur.

On Wednesday, he came to his wife home and allegedly strangulated her and dumped her body in the house.

The incident came into light, when nearby people looked Santokh Singh running outside his house and Kathgarh cops were called up by the residents.

Meanwhile, case has been registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and accused is yet to be arrested.
