In Nahan, Sangrah-Haripurdhar road closed due to snow

Temperature in high altitude and lower areas of Sirmaur plummeted due to snowfall in Haripurdhar and Churdhar peak last night in Sangrah sub-division.

Temperature in high altitude and lower areas of Sirmaur plummeted due to snowfall in Haripurdhar and Churdhar peak last night in Sangrah sub-division. The snowfall has led to closure of Sangrah-Haripurdhar road and traffic has been suspended in the higher altitude areas of the district.

All natural sources of water and rivulets have been frozen. Six HRTC buses have been stranded in remote areas of the district. On the other hand, rain has also led to a dip in the temperature in the district.
