'It's all about home-cooked food'

Auditions for MasterChef India Season 3 here would take place on December 1, said international star chef Vikas Khanna on Sunday.

The theme for season 3 is ''Banaiye apne ghar ki pehchaan ko desh ki shaan (Make signature home-cooked dish the pride of the nation)."

Announcing the dates at a conference here, Khanna said auditions would take place from 9am to 2pm at MK Hotel on Ranjit Avenue. Auditions will be held in total 20 cities.

"As promised, this time we will have a bigger, better and tougher season on MasterChef," Khanna, who will be hosting the show on Star Plus, said. "We will also have India's most renowned chef Sanjeev Kapoor as well as chef Kunal Kapoor on the panel of judges."

Pankaj Bhadouria and Shipra Khanna were the winners of season 1 and 2 respectively.
