Satish Kumar, father of student Saurabh Kumar, told mediapersons that his son was mercilessly beaten up by PTI Rakesh Kumar on December 27. He said Saurabh complained about it on reaching home and he was taken to the civil hospital, where he was admitted.
Dr Pankaj at the Jind civil hospital said the victim's hearing ability has been affected as he was slapped with force. He added that the victim would be operated upon.
Relatives of the victim alleged that the school principal did not hear them out when they went to lodge their complaint with him.
The police said investigations are on and a case under Section 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the accused.
