In its special report that appeared on Monday, HT had highlighted the nuisance created by the photographers, who have been misusing the platform under the ancient banyan tree at Jyotisar as a workstation.

Chief executive officer (CEO) of KDB Subhita Dhaka told HT on Monday evening that the spiritual ambiance would not be allowed to be infringed by anyone. “It is one of the holiest places of Kurukshetra and any illegal activity would not be tolerated.

The staff has been directed to ensure that no individual misuses the site having heritage significance,” she said.
