LKG student crushed to death by school bus in Rewari

The police said that the school bus dropped Himang after dispersal at his residence in Dharan Ki Dhani village. After getting down, he was walking towards his home from the front side of the bus. However, the driver did not spot him and drove the bus over him.

A four-year-old boy died after being crushed under the wheels of his school bus outside his residence in Rewari on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Himang, a student of LKG Class at Sunrise School in Sulkha village of the district.

The police said that the school bus dropped Himang after dispersal at his residence in Dharan Ki Dhani village. After getting down, he was walking towards his home from the front side of the bus. However, the driver did not spot him and drove the bus over him.

His family members rushed him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead during the treatment.

Bawal station house officer (SHO), said the driver fled the spot soon after the incident. A case against him has been registered, though he is yet to be arrested.
