LMA holds talk on business advantages of technology

Ravi Chauhan, managing director, SAP India was the chief guest at the event. He delivered a lecture about “Business Advantages through Technology”
Chauhan said the business in the future would require creating advantage through four pillars, including optimising resources, using big data to one’s advantage; running business in real time and by innovating in different areas.
He emphasised that technology was an enabler that helps in creating eco-friendly products and processes. With billions of devices connected world-wide and the technology being available, it was now possible to develop tailor-made products and services for individual customer.
“Businesses have transformed themselves into real time, where the time boundary has disappeared and disruptive technologies have transformed business models everywhere, thereby creating new opportunities and threats,” he stated.
