The injured have been identified as Geeta Devi (42) and her son Jugal Kishore (22). They have been admitted into the trauma ward of civil hospital where their conditions were said to be out of danger.

Geeta's daughter Neetu said her mother and brother had gathered around a bonfire on a brazier in the house and suddenly a blast had occurred due to leakage in the LPG cylinder in the kitchen at around 10am.
