Malawi ambassador visits PCTE

The deputy high commissioner, Republic of Malawi to India, his excellency, Lewis P Mbilizi visited PCTE Group of Institutes on Thursday to look into avenues in higher education here

The deputy high commissioner, Republic of Malawi to India, his excellency, Lewis P Mbilizi visited PCTE Group of Institutes on Thursday to look into avenues in higher education here. He said he was very happy to see the state of the art equipment, laboratories, modern outlook, huge number of foreign students and faculty already at the campus, and the entire experience was very welcoming.

The ambassador also interacted with senior faculty members of hospitality, pharmacy, IT and management department and was happy to hear about the teaching methodology at PCTE.

Professor Swapan Chanana, unit head, PCTE said, "This visit of the ambassador to our campus will help initiate educational relationship with Malawi. We are looking forward to Malawi students coming to our college."

About 200 students from 23 countries already students at PCTE, besides french and lithuanians, who engage in regular exchange programs with the institute each year.
