Man sets self on fire, sustains 70% burns
A 40-year-old man received 70% burns after he immolated himself by pouring kerosene in front of the superintendent of police's office here on Saturday.

A 40-year-old man received 70% burns after he immolated himself by pouring kerosene in front of the superintendent of police's office here on Saturday.
The victim, identified as Suraj Prakash, a resident of Shyam Colony, was rushed to the Rohtak medical college for treatment. Doctors attending to him told mediapersons that the victim had suffered more than 70% burns.
The police said the victim was distressed as he was involved in a divorce case and a property dispute with his brother. Senior police officers reached the spot to take stock of the situation after the incident.
