Maneka to open modern anganwadi center on June 24

Union minister of women and child development, Maneka Gandhi will inaugurate a modern anganwadi centre set up by her ministry at Hasanpur village in Sonepat district on June 24, an official release said on Monday.

Stating that Haryana women and child development minister Kavita Jain would preside over the function, the release said the anganwadi centre had been set up under Nand Ghar Yojana of the central government under public private partnership (PPP) mode. The release said the government also planned to set up 4,000 such centres in the country.
