Migrant arrested for abducting, raping minor
The city police have arrested a migrant contractor, Aalam, a native of Patna district in Bihar, on the charges of abducting a minor daughter of a migrant labourer. Investigating officer assistant sub-inspector Sukhwinder Singh said the accused was arrested from Bhargo Camp in Jalandhar.

The city police have arrested a migrant contractor, Aalam, a native of Patna district in Bihar, on the charges of abducting a minor daughter of a migrant labourer. Investigating officer assistant sub-inspector Sukhwinder Singh said the accused was arrested from Bhargo Camp in Jalandhar.
He added that charges of rape and wrongful confinement have been added to the FIR on the statement of the victim, who was rescued from a house in Jalandhar and was handed over to her parents.
