MN Sharma, the first chief architect of Chandigarh, passed away on Sunday morning in Chandigarh.

MN Sharma, the first chief architect of Chandigarh, passed away on Sunday morning in Chandigarh

Sharma was 93 years old and was being taken to the hospital after he suffered a heart attack.

“I am proud of my father who made the country proud,” Sharma’s daughter Priya Ojha told Hindustan Times.

He lived in Sector 8, Chandigarh.
