Mobile phone seized from jail inmate
In a continuing affair, another mobile phone was seized from an inmate on Saturday inside Patiala Central Jail. Sandeep Singh of Indira Colony, from whom it is claimed to have been seized, is charged under the Prisons Act of 1984. The police claimed to have found the Nokia 1280 handset in his jail barracks.

In a continuing affair, another mobile phone was seized from an inmate on Saturday inside Patiala Central Jail.
Sandeep Singh of Indira Colony, from whom it is claimed to have been seized, is charged under the Prisons Act of 1984. The police claimed to have found the Nokia 1280 handset in his jail barracks.
However, they could not trace the subscriber's identity module (SIM) card. In the past four months, the jail department has recovered nearly 60 mobile phones from the prison.
