Modi to address Fateh Rally in Jagraon on February 23

Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi would address Fateh Rally, which is to be held in Jagraon on February 23. Earlier, the rally was scheduled to be on December 21.

Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal, national secretary of BJP Kisan Morcha, said the people of Punjab were eagerly waiting to hear Modi's views.

Grewal stated that Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal, BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, deputy chief minister Punjab Sukhbir Singh Badal and BJP Punjab state president Kamal Sharma, along with senior leaders would address the rally.

Grewal said the party had won the semi-final in four state assembly elections and now Narendra Modi wave would help the alliance to sweep the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Grewal also said it was known that a few days back this rally was postponed due to weather forecast of rain, previously the rally was suppose to be held on December 21, now the new date has been decided as February 23. He said large number of SAD-BJP workers would attend this rally.

It is pertinent to mention that the rally was scheduled to be held in Moga. Now the venue of the rally has been shifted to Jagraon. The preparations for the rally were almost complete, but the SAD-BJP alliance postponed the rally due to adverse weather conditions.
