Moga gets Rs 128 crore for sewerage projects

The Punjab government has approved Rs 127.58 crore for sewerage and Rs 12.56 crore for water supply projects, respectively, in Moga.

The Punjab government has approved Rs 127.58 crore for sewerage and Rs 12.56 crore for water supply projects, respectively, in Moga.

Former agriculture minister jathedar Tota Singh said that work on most projects had been started. In Moga, projects worth Rs 5.20 crore for water supply and Rs 63.62 crore for sewerage were underway.

"Baghapurana sewerage projects worth Rs 27.25 crore is on and project worth Rs. 5.44 crore has been approved. In Dharamkot, work on sewerage projects worth Rs. 18.71 crore is in progress. Water supply projects worth Rs 85 lakh has been approved," he added.

Tota Singh added that in Badhni Kalan, projects worth Rs 18 crore for sewerage and Rs. 1.07 crore for water supply has been approved.
