But United Singhs made a comeback in the second quarter on the back of some smart catching techniques. Singhs not only managed to reduce the deficit but also managed to gain a three point lead (29-26).
Singhs then started asserting themselves in the match and kept the pressure in the Kings. By the end of the third quarter, Singhs were sitting comfortably at 46-37 with a cushion of 11 points.
Royal Kings refused to throw in the towel and mounted a challenge in the fourth quarter. But in the end, it proved to be too little too late as Singhs sealed a win with six-point margin. In the other match of the day, Lahore Lions beat Yo Yo Tigers 69-59.
Thunder win appeal, earn tie result
Punjab Thunder today successfully appealed against the last point awarded to Khalsa Warriors to earn a 58-58 tie result.
