He revealed that according to information from RTI, the PWD constructed 493 km of new roads in Rohtak-Jhajjar while in Panchkula and Yamunanagar districts, not even a single road was made.Bansal, who is president of Shivalik Vikas Manch, has recently joined HLP. He said that parts of Panchkula and Yamunanagar districts were hilly and underdeveloped so Shivalik Vikas Board was set up in 1993 but in 2008 chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda withdrew the powers to construct roads. Bansal said the government was biased in its development approach and hence a larger amount of money had been diverted to Jhajjar and Rohtak.

He added that the PWD built 384 km of new roads in Rohtak-Jhajjar while under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana 108 km of roads were constructed.
