NRI donates eight bicycles to needy students

Davinder Kaur Jolly, a non-resident Indian (NRI), donated eight bicycles to the needy students of Class 11 and 12 at Shaheed Nirmaljeet Singh Memorial Government Senior Secondary School, Isewal, here on Wednesday.

Davinder Kaur Jolly, a non-resident Indian (NRI), donated eight bicycles to the needy students of Class 11 and 12 at Shaheed Nirmaljeet Singh Memorial Government Senior Secondary School, Isewal, here on Wednesday.


On the Inspiration of National Awardee and Prominent writer Smt. Gurcharan Kaur Kochhar and SJB Singh, members of school committee and panchayat were present on the occasion. Also, on the occasion, ex-sarpanch and president of Milk Producing Co-operative Society, Gurdial Singh donated Rs 30,000 out of the profit earned by the co-operative society for the welfare of the students.

While thanking Jolly, principal Anoop Kumar Passi appreciated them for their benevolent gesture, and motivated the student to do their best in future.
