Orbit bus hits bike in Patiala, impounded

With Akalis out of power, the Badal family-owned Orbit bus which was once considered ‘unstoppable’, was impounded on Monday after it was involved in a collision with a bike at the Leela Bhavan Chowk.

Interestingly, the bus, which was on its way from Chandiagrh to Bathinda, was impounded even as its driver had shifted the injured biker to the hospital after the accident.

BUS VANDALISED AFTER MISHAP IN FARIDKOT

A man and his daughter were injured in a collision between a bus and motorcycle near Kaler village in Faridkot on Monday. The bus belonged to Akali leader Hardeep Singh Dimpy’s New Deep Travels. After the incident, angry villagers vandalised the bus.
