Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee president Sachin Pilot on Sunday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his failure to fulfill poll promises and alleged that Union government is diverting people’s attention by raising issues of love-jehad and Ram Temple.

He also accused the Modi government of misusing CBI against the politicians of opposition parties.

He was addressing a small gathering at Kalanaur of Rohtak district after inaugurating a Gurjar Community center. Pilot also criticized Modi’s for making Congress Free India statement and said, “during its 50 year rule at the centre the Congress never made any statement to free India from BJP, but now they are saying that they want to make Congress free India”

He also accused Haryana chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar’s government of registering false cases against former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and warned that BJP will pay a heavy price for its politically motivated cases against Hooda.

Deepender plays caste card

In a bid to play the caste card Congress MP Deepender Hooda invited Sachin Pilot for the inauguration of a Panchayati Gurjar Dharamshala in the Gurjar dominated village of Kalanaur of Rohtak district. Both Hooda and Pilot inaugurated the Dharamshala along with former Congress MLA Dharam Singh Chhokar .
