Police in Patiala, Punjab, have confirmed the arrest of six Babbar Khalsa militants.

Police in Patiala, Punjab, have confirmed the arrest of six Babbar Khalsa militants.

Patiala's Senior Superintendent of Police, H.S. Mann, said: "Patiala Police has exposed a module of the Babbar Khalsa group, and has prevented an incident from happening that they were planning. We have recovered four weapons from them, and an enquiry is still underway."

Several cases are already registered against the arrested militants. The investigation is still on, police said.
