Power engineers threaten to resume stir
The power engineers have threatened to revive the agitation against the management of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) if it failed to implement the agreed demands.
The executive committee of PSEB Engineers' Association took this decision at an emergency meeting.
Association general secretary Sajveen Sood said that they had set June 5 as the deadline to implement the decisions taken in the management's meeting held in March. If the PSPCL management failed, the association will be forced to resume its agitation from June 10.
In the meeting PSEBEA expressed its anguish on the inordinate delay in implementing the agreed demands, which, they said, were affecting the services being provided to the consumers.
The association's executive committee felt that there was a deliberate attempt to not fulfil the commitments.
