Meeting the Punjab education minister Daljit Cheema on Saturday, a delegation, led by association's president Rajinder Sharma, said students found it difficult to reach other centres on time, especially if the centres were in far-off places.

“If the Punjab board does not change its policy, students will begin to secure admission to other open boards, which will be a loss to Punjab board as well as schools under it,” said association member Inderjeet Malhotra. The delegation also submitted a memorandum.
