The jathedar, who participated in the ‘bhog’ ceremony of ‘Akhand Path’ held to remember the innocents killed in the riots in and around Delhi, said it was unfortunate that even after 32 years, justice has not been delivered.

Terming the riots “a well-thought-out conspiracy”, the jathedar accused successive governments of failing to provide justice to the victims.

Slamming the Congress, the jathedar said now that the Bharatiya Janata Party is in power at the Centre, the state government must take up the matter strongly.

Earlier, prayers were offered in memory of the victims and seeking speedy justice for them during the bhog ceremony at Gurdwara Jhanda Bunga Sahib in the Golden Temple complex.
