To prepare students of Class XII of government schools of Punjab for competitive exams such as engineering and medical, the government of Punjab has decided to provide students with free crash course facility.
To prepare students of Class XII of government schools of Punjab for competitive exams such as engineering and medical, the government of Punjab has decided to provide students with free crash course facility.
The director general school of education, Punjab, cum project director Punjab Edusat Society, Kahan Singh Pannu confirmed the crash course will be provided with the help of Edusat network facility.
The crash course is free of cost for the students of government schools of Punjab and the private school students can also avail the opportunity by paying an amount of Rs 1000 to the Edusat society through Demand Draft (DD) in the favour of project director Punjab Edusat Society payable at Chandigarh with the concerned government school principals.
Talking to Hindustan Times, Kahan Singh Pannu, director general school education, Punjab, said, "The course will enable the students to get good ranks in the competitive exam and can be helpful in getting admission in prestigious institutes. The district Education Officers (secondary) of all the districts of Punjab are directed to make all the preparations and ask the school heads to inform the students about this course. So that more and more students can take benefit of this". ty. "
The crash course training will be provided to the students of Class 12 for two hours (1:15 pm to 3:15 pm) and will start from January 1, 2013 and will continue till February 28, 2013.
