Punjabis’ contribution in Canada’s progress hailed
James Stone, the first secretary (political relations) of Canadian high commission, New Delhi, called on Punjab education minister Dr Daljit Singh Cheema here on Tuesday. Cheema briefed the Canadian diplomat about various development initiatives of the state government.

The visiting diplomat made a mention of the contribution made by Punjabis to the allround progress of Canada, said a government spokesperson.
